********** General Office Ministries Under Consideration *********
The General Secretary of Senior Adults Ministries is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and implementation of ministries to and with UAME members sixty-two years of age and older. He/she will provide direction and leadership for UAME’s senior adults discipleship ministries. With the very large number of our members approaching their senior years, this ministry will develop programs and methods to care for and reach our seniors. Our senior adults have a variety of life experiences and needs that are also changing over time. Anticipating and planning for this dynamic ministry will require vision and collaboration.

The mission statement of the senior ministry is:
• To enhance a deeper relationship with Christ
• To support seniors in life events
• To offer meaningful, ongoing fellowship

Duties:
• Create, plan to train and equip members to incorporate and lead weekly senior ministry meetings
• Recruit and manage volunteers in multiple programs/workshops within the program
• Develop programs and service opportunities that are engaging and relevant to seniors
• Compile a list of resources to aide seniors

Qualifications:
• Exhibit a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Possess a passion and compassion for senior adults
• Direct and effectively work with a large group of volunteers
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
• Be a self-starter
